But you dont need to give up just because you cant give NDA Exam. You can always complete graduation and come back to sit for the CDS Exam. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Combined Defence Services for those who wish to join the Indian armed forces like Army, Navy and Air force as an officer. These are the four academies you can join by giving CDS Exam:-
-The age limit to join army wing is 19-24 years. The age limit to join naval wing is 19-22 years. The age limit to join air force is 19-23 years. Scheme of written exam:- Indian Military Academy/Naval Academy/Air Force Academy:-

Re: Can I get job in Indian Army being 19 years old 12th passed candidate?
No, you are not eligible to appear for the NDA examination and hence not eligible for recruitment on 10+2 educational qualification.
The eligibility to appear for examination is that the candidate must have passed or appearing for 10+2 and age must be between 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for examination. So, you have crossed the maximum age limit to appear for examination but if you are pursuing the bachelor course you can appear for CDS examination after that. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
