Sir,
I am a 12th passed student and 24 years old. Can I join Indian Navy or Indian Army? And what are the requirements of joining both?

Sorry, you are not eligible to join the Indian Army or Navy after the 10+2 with 24 years of age.

To join the defence services after the 10+2 the candidates have to appear and qualify in the NDA examination. NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC every year. The eligibility to appear for the examination:-
* Candidates must have 10+2 from the recognised board.
* Candidates age must be between the 16.5-19.5 years.
* Only male candidates are eligible.

So you cannot appear for the examination. The examination is conducted in the two stages as written and SSB. For more information about the examination pattern and eligibility visit at the www.upsc.gov.in.
