Sir, i got 59% in diploma electrical engg sir can i join btech eee branch next year

Yes, You are eligible for getting admission into engineering college.Two options are there for you
1.) You may join via lateral entry after completing your diploma & get straightly into 2nd year.
2.) You can join as a fresher by going through the entrance exam or go for management colleges.
Check for your preference and act accordingly.
It would be better to go for 1 st option than 2 nd.You can save 1 year by that.WISHING YOU EVERY SUCCESS.

Yes you can join B.Tech course in EEE since you have completed diploma in Engineering course. There is an option for you to seek admission in the second year of B.Tech course. This scheme is called lateral entry.


Only diploma and Bachelor of Science graduates can apply for this scheme. It is not opened for anyone else. Since you have diploma degree you certainly are eligible. The lateral entry scheme is offered by colleges around the country with exception of Indian Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology. These two univerties will not offer lateral entry.


You can seek direct admission although I am not sure if colleges would offer you that since your percentage is low. Several colleges reserve some seats for the lateral entry and offer direct admission on merit. But the general requirement is 60 percent marks in diploma course. Therefore I am not sure if any college would offer direct admission.


But you can surely get admission through entrance exam called LEET. This exam is conducted in various states for lateral admission in engineering colleges. If you performed well in this exam, you can get admission.


Please remember that there is no point applying for entrance exams such as:


AIEEE

UPSEE

BITSAT

ISEET

IIT-JEE


All these exams are for admisison after completing 12th, not lateral entry. Since you can get direct entry into second year you should appear for LEET exam instead.
