i want to join indian army,my age is 18 and height is 6fit,what can i do.?

of course u very well join the infian army it nda or technical entry. for nda as ur age is between 161/2 to19. fot technical entry u need to having pcm marks in 12 more than 75% for merit.as seleceted in written conducted by upsc (nda) u called for ssb after clearing that u join the indian army.for more detail.www.upsc.gov.in.,www.careerinarmy.in

Yes you can.
You will be required to appear for the NDA exams, or the SSC exams. Once you clear the written, you will have to qualify the fitness test to get selected.

Of course, you can join Indian army .As your age is 18 ,so I think you have passed 12th .If you have completed it with science then you can apply for NDA .

Eligibility criteria for NDA -
1.12th with PCM.
2.Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years .
3.Candidate should be an Indian .

So according to age criteria you are eligible .

Next NDA exam will be conducted on = april/2012.

NDA EXAM;
every year UPSE conduct NDA exam for indian people ;

if you passed 12th and between 19 to 23 year so can also participate entry exam for IMA,INDIAN NAVY,INDIAN ARMY

As you have already completed your graduation level,then you can apply for then you can get chance to take admission in Indian Army.

There are some selection procedure such as:
Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)


According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

Age Limit:

i)For IMA:19-24 Years
ii)For OTA:19-23 Years
iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years
iv)For AFA :19-25 Years


They select the students through the
i) Written Test
ii)Intelligence & Personality test
iii)Medical test.

Exam Pattern
i) Written Test

for IMA / Naval Academy / AFA
All the three papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
Elementary Mathematics
total 300 marks,each paper 100 marks.

for OTA
All the two papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
total 200 marks,each paper of 100 marks.

ii)Intelligence & Personality test :Generally here checks the Personality of the candidate,GD,group planning, physical fitness test, interview, small lectures on general issues & psychological tests. etc...

iii)Medical test.
After getting selected in interview ,the candidates are called for medical examination which is conducted by Military Hospitals.

Pre-Commission training After getting final selected the candidates are called for Training.

yes you can apply for NDA , the age limit for this exam in 16.5-19 years.

foe appearing in this exam you must have to complete your +2 examination with at least 60% in PCM group.
this exam is conducted by UPSC twice times in every year.

You should appear for National Defence Academy (NDA) examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The candidate must did 10+2 with any of the stream. To be eligible for the exam. As per your height and age eligibility, you can appear for the examination, provided your age should be 18 years or below as on the date of joining.

How To Join Indian Army

In order to join the Indian Army at the age of 18..you can appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) exam which is held twice every year in the months of April and August for which the notifications will be released in the months of January and April,respectively..

Eligibility Criteria :-

In order to appear for the NDA exam..you need to fulfill the following conditions :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out..

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

3) You should be unmarried..

The written exam shall test you on the following things :-

English
Basic Maths
General Knowledge
