after e&tc diploma Can i join indian navy...........? ...please tell me if its possible

Yes, you can join Indian Navy after completing your diploma course. The selection will be mainly based on a written examination. You have to attend the NDA examination. Your age should be between 16.5 – 19 years for applying for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam. The final year diploma candidates are also eligible to apply. You need to be physically fit for applying to the Indian Navy and should fulfill the required criteria prescribed about the physical fitness.

To join in Indian Navy after E&TC diploma you need to write the NDA Exam

This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and this exam is conducted twice in a year namely as NDA I and NDA II


Eligibility Needed:

Candidate need to be a citizen of India

Only Unmarried male candidate need to be eligible for the exam

Age Limit needed for the NDA Exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

Education Qualification needed for the NDA Exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education

For joining in Indian Navy and Air Force you need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics with fair percentage.

Candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the NDA Exam.

The eligibility for the Indian Navy are:
The eligibility for the Senior Secondary Recruits ( S.S.R.S )

AGE- The applicant should be age of 17 years to 21 years.
The relaxation for the age against the sports quota entry, the upper age , relaxation for outstanding sportsmen

NATIONALITY - Applicant should be resident in India.The Gorkhas subject of Nepal also eligible for the S.S.R recruitment.

MARITAL STATUS - applicant should be unmarried.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

a) applicant should have passed the 12th with science stream with compulsory subjects, physics and Mathematics or optional subject of chemistry or Biology or computer.

b) The minimum qualification marks required for applying a particular type of entry in to Indian Navy may vary and the same would be promulgated in the advertisement in Newspaper and this website on as required basis.

PHYSICAL STANDARD - The candidate should be physically fit for enrolement into Indian Navy. This capability is tested at the examination venue on qualifying in written examination and is termed as physical fitness test ( P.F.T ). Qualifying in physical fitness test is mandatory. P.F.T will consist of 1.6 Km run which is to be completed in 07 minute and 20 squats, And 10 push ups.
