I want to ask is it possible to join merchant navy in the base of 10+2 in arts or in the base of 10th

hi gentleman
on the basis of 10th marks you can join merchant navy.On the basis of 10th marks you will have to do a course from some marine institute.
TS Rahman, BP marine are some institutes in mumbai.
its not on the basis of 12th marks of arts.they ask for science in that.

There is a minimum age requirement of 17 years. The minimum qualification required is 12th standard. You need to have studied Physics and Chemistry along with Mathematics in 12th standard. Since you are from the arts background it is not possible for you go in for Merchant Navy stream. You need to look for other options.

In Merchant navy those students can go which have passed 12th with PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY and MATHS.ARTS students are not allowed for Merchant navy.
