For any stream of engineering, the minimum qualification which a candidate must have is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
So, you can opt for Chemical engineering after choosing PCM+Computer Science. The entrance exam is Joint Entrance exam conducted by CBSE if you want to get admission in top engineering colleges of India like IIT, NITs, government engineering college. You can also appear for the state level engineering entrance tests. |

Yes, eligibility for JEE in engineering is Physics+chemistry+Math in your 10+2 exam. Some entrance board demand that aggregate marks in both phics, chemistry and math shoudl be 50%.
So don't worry, if you fill these eligibility criteria than you can take Chemical Engineering in your graduation. |

Re: Can I opt for chemical engineering after choosing PCM+Computer Science?
Yes you will have a chance to take chemical engineering right after completion of 12th with Physics, Maths and Chemistry are main subjects. And one more thing is similar to other streams you need to write any entrance exam to get admission in good college.
More over you can also adopt chemical engineering with National level entrance exams like IIT JEE, state level exams like EAMCET, etc., So well prepare for entrance exams then you will get admission in good college. Then you start your career in chemical engineering. |
