Re: Can I pursue B.Tech. in Genetic Engineering after 10+2 ?
Dear friend,
No ,there is no institute in India that offers genetic engineering course in the undergraduate level. That means genetic engineering is only offered in the Master's degree level. After 10(+2), you have to complete your graduation degree with biology related subjects or paramedical subjects. Then only you can pursue your higher studies with genetic engineering. Genetic engineering course can be taken as M.Sc course or a M.Tech degree course. So first of all complete your graduation. All the best!! |

Re: Can I pursue B.Tech. in Genetic Engineering after 10+2 ?
yes of course a +2passout can join B.Tech in genetic engineering, although it is very rare course.
There are several colleges in India which offer this course: S.R.M. Engineering College. singhaniauniversityhttp://www.singhaniauniversity.in/co...etic-engg.html Biotechnology B.Tech in IIT's( is a closely related field) well however such course is not much widespread in india and quality is a suspect. so i will suggest you to go abroad for better and more choices. US and Japan and Australia would be ideal places to go. |

Re: Can I pursue B.Tech. in Genetic Engineering after 10+2 ?
dear friend
I am sorry to say that,Any institute can't provide the genetic engineering. Genetic engineering is offered at undergraduate level After 12th standerd its not possible. If you do this course you have completed on degree in the Master level. Like the eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as genetics as part of the biology. A Bachelors degree in science or molecular biology is also eligible for the course. First complete any degree. |
