my name is chetan i m BE studant i want to sit cds exam i passed 12th sci,can i sit this exam

CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Examination which held twice in a year and conducted by union public service commission board of India.
Through This Exam You can join Either Army , Air Force or Navy as per as your Choice filled during Filling of application Form. Eligibility must be Graduation and Age must be For IMA i.e Indian Military academy age should be 19 years to 23 years of age. (For This you are Eligible in Educational Point of View) For IAF i.e Indian Air force age should be 19 years to 23 years. (Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.) For Officer's training academy it should be 19 years to 25 years. (Degree of a recognized University or Equivalent ) and last for Naval academy it should be 19 to 22 years. (Degree in Engineering) B.E i.e Bachelor's of Engineering right !! Yes if you are in Final year you can write the Exam, Prefinal year or being in first year or 2nd year you can't write the Exam. |

Hi Friend,
For this exam you can join Army, Air Force & Navy also. you can choice form them and Filling of application Form. you are eligibility if you must be Graduate and age also according for Indian Military academy & INDIAN AIR FORCE age should be 19 years to 23 years of age. You are doing BE [Bachelor's of Engineering] If you are finl year student you should eligibal for this CAD EXAM, else you are not. |

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)
The examination is knocking the door as the notification is coming on 25th September,2011 for that keep visiting its official website www.upsc.gov.in According to the Eligibility Criteria: i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University. ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE). iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE) Age Limit: i)For IMA:19-24 Years ii)For OTA:19-23 Years iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years iv)For AFA :19-25 Years The Examination Date:13.02.2012 The Last Date of Application:25.10.2011 Second Examination of 2012: The Date of exam: 18.09.2012 The Date of Notification: 30.04.2012 TheLast date of Applications:30.05.2012 for more visit: www.upsc.gov.in They select the students through the i) Written Test ii)Intelligence & Personality test iii)Medical test. Yes shore you can eligible join indian army being a candidate of BE. CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year, CDS-I, CDS-II. Eligibility criteria: You should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Age limits is 19years to 24years. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Final year candidate also eligible.
