Hello, Being a female candidate I want to join Air Force after completing my MCA. I have completed my 10+2(HSC) with PCM group. As i got to know that after appearing for CDS/AFCAT exams i will be able to join air force. Please guide me regarding the path I should follow?

You can join in Air Force. You need to apply for the CDS exam. The eligibility details are mentioned below.

CDS (Common Defence Services):
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should complete their graduation or any degree from recognised university with a fair percentage.
- Unmarried male candidates are eligible (for some posts female candidates are also recruited).
- The age limit is 19 - 24 years and no age relaxation.
- Height should be 157Cms and weight should be proportional to height.
- Candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

Yes you can appear for CDS/AFCAT exam and join airforce.

CDS exam stands for Combined Defence service exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC board twice in a year.
1. You complete graduation from a recognised university.
2. You must get at least 60% marks in graduation.
3. For this exam both male and female candidates can apply.
4. The age limit for appearing this exam is 19 - 23 years.

AFCAT stands for Airforce common admission test. Being a post graduate you can apply for this exam.
You will be eligible for
1. Education branch
2. Meterology branch of ground duties

The eligibility is
1. All the graduates and post graduates can apply for this exam
2. The age limit is 20 - 26 years
3. You must get at least 50% marks in PG and graduation with 60% marks

This exam is conducted every year twice by the airforce academy. You can apply for the exam in the official website of airforce.
