** Sorry to say you are not eligible to get admission in IIT/NIT for a candidate with 32 marks in GATE(ECE).

** As per your cutt of marks, my suggestion to you is that you can apply for admission in private college which accept your score.

** If you belong to reserved category candidate then you can try to get admission in govt college because the qualifying marks for SC/St category is 22.

No, you can't get admission in IIT/ NIT for pursuing your higher studies after securing 32 marks in GATE examination. To get admission in IIT/ NIT, you have to appear, qualify and secure good rank in GATE examination. You have to participate in the counselling process according to your examination rank to know whether you can get admission in IIT/ NIT.

After scoring 32 marks in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, there is hardly any chance of getting admission in M.Tech in IIT or NIT if you belong to general or OBC category.

SC/ST candidates have some chances with 32 marks in GATE exam. In case of general or OBC candidates, minimum of 50 plus marks is required.

If you are a General category student, then it will be tough for you to get any of the IITs. And if we talk about NIT, chances for NIT too are less. But you may get good university, which offers M.Tech Program.
There are many good universities which offers the M.Tech program for a student having Valid GATE score. Since the cutoff of this year was 25, So you have a fair chances of getting some good universities, having a score of 32. So do a little research on the universities offering M.tech across the country on GATE score and select any of them as per your convenience.

Dear Student,

I hope 32 marks in GATE Exam is not up to get a seat in IITs because top rankers in GATE choose the IITs since you are in 4000th rank it is very hard to get admission in IITs and NITs but you can get admission in Reputed Private Colleges.

If you still like to study only in IITs you can wait for one year and reappear in GATE Exam next year and score good marks to get into IITs.

All the Best.
