Re: Which course is better for me after the completion of B.Sc. in Mathematics?
Soon after the completion of B.Sc. in Mathematics, many of the candidates will go for MCA for their higher studies.
But in current scenario, the jobs for these IT people are slowly coming down. So,my suggestion is better to go for MBA rather than MCA course. MBA course is evergreen. This course always provides good job opportunities for the candidates. If you have a profound interest in Mathematics, you may also choose M.Sc. in Mathematics. My suggestion is go for MBA course that too with HR specialization. This will offer good career for you. |

Quote:
You have completed your graduation from mathematics department . so better option for you to go for M.SC (math) . Also you have chance to go for MBA but you must have cleared the CAT or MAT exam. The another option is go for MCA department . because B.SC (math) are eligible for MCA. Some good options are JRF ,SRF or integrated PHD for B.Sc math department. all the best |

After B.sc Maths if you are interested in working in Maths field as a teacher or as a Mathematician you can do M.sc maths. But many would like to pursue their career in MCA or MBA as higher studies. Doing MBA will help you to make yourself enter in management field. Or to enter in IT field you can do MCA.

If you are interested in technology the go for MCA that will also be good for you. And if you are interested to be a superior and manage things around you and willingness to teamwork then go for MBA. If you are interested for furteh study then go for Ph.d which will give you entry to research and development. Just decide in what role you will be perfect and go for that feild. |

For higher studies after B.Sc ,M.Sc is the best option after M.Sc you can go for
JRE i.e junior research fellowship. Mathematics is very demanding subject today with physics. Another career option is MBA with HR or IT in which you are interested. Both the courses are of equal duration. |

there are a lot of opportunities avialable after completion of b.sc maths.
first option is to pursue m.sc maths since it may get you closer to teaching line.in future you may either sit for net exam or complete your b.ed. second option is to go for mca.since the IT sector is the largest recruiter of science students and offers a handsome salary hence this also a good option. third is to go for mba since this is going to get you a job in the corporate sector. the choice depends on you. |

Re: Which course is better for me after the completion of B.Sc. in Mathematics?
B.Sc Mathematics is a very good course, and it has got lots of scope, and when I am talking about scope, i mean in terms of teaching and lecturer professions.
The next level for B.Sc Mathematics is M.Sc. It is a 2 year course and it deals with the advance mathematics and the relations between them. Eligibility in good Universities and Colleges is that, you should be a graduate with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Many people opt for this course,as soon as they finish the bachelors degree. Otherwise, you can directly go for your MBA (Masters in Business Administration), as it would be assuring you a job. Remember assuring means, it also depends on your quality of knowledge, and the college from where you would pursue the MBA. To do MBA, you have to sit for a Common Admission Test. (CAT). Based on your CAT score and percentile you can take up IIM's or other MBA colleges in India. But I would suggest you to be leaned towards M.Sc first and then MBA. All the best. |

Re: Which course is better for me after the completion of B.Sc. in Mathematics?
After completion of B.Sc Mathematics, you have got a lot of options. As Mathematics is a subject which is applicable in every field.
So first of all, let me give you a list of options that are available for you, next after your graduation. 1. You can pursue your M.Sc in Mathematics from the IIT's or any good recognized University, and then work as a senior teacher in any of the good schools or universities. 2. You can also go for the MCA course, but since it need computer background, you would find it difficult to settle with it. 3. You can prepare for IAS. Its one of the most reputated examinations and tough as well. You would need time enough, and give yourself that exposure. You can choose any one of the ones mentioned above, whichever suits you the best. All the best. Regards RJ |
