Courses to become a doctor in Army?
I want to become an army doctor but i dont know the courses i have to do.

As you said that you want to become a doctor in army then you have to complete the AFMC exam.

You can join Indian army after completing MBBS.The army need doctor time to
time so they just give their notification on employment news paper so all you have to do is to keep reading employment newspaper and if their is any vacancy in army then you can join it You can also become army doctor if you get admission in AFMC .It gives opportunity to all students to work with army for at least some years and then if you want to go to private sector then you can join it |

attend the afmc entrance examination for mbbs the exam will be conducted on every year 1st sunday of may. no of seats 130 25 seats are for girls exam duration 2 hours no of questions 2oo course duration 5 years for more details visit www.afmc.nic.in |

If you wanted to become A doctor in ARMY then you should go for AFMC which stands for ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE which is situated in Pune. AFMC stands for Armed Force Medical College and it conducts an entrance exam for students who wanted to to get admission to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. The Exam is conducted on all India level and was the first medical institute of India.This exam is conducted every year. One has to do a service of 7 years in ARMED FORCES after doing MBBS from the AFMC. The duration of AFMC test is 120 minutes. It will be having 200 multiple choice questions.
For every wrong answer there will be negative marking. The syllabus for the entrance exam is the higher secondary classes. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 1)You must have completed the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 2)The minimum mark required is 60% marks or above in PCB. 3)They should not have scored less than 50% marks in English and in other science subjects. 4)If you are in the current year of 10+2 examination before May 2nd the also you are also eligible to apply. 5)The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st December of the applying year. The upper age limit is 25 years. There is an exception of 5 years for those belonging to SC, ST or OBC. Important Dates
