The IES Exams was held in 14/May/2011.

So, if you have apply for this exams, then its good.

But if you are interested to apply for this entrance examination, then you cant apply for this exams now because the last date to apply for this exams was already over and you can apply for this exams before 7/Feb/2011.

The notification was released on 8/Jan/2011.

day 1:
general studies paper:maximum marks 200,duration 2 hrs
day2:
objective paper 1:maximum marks 200,duration 2 hrs
objective paper 2:maximum marks 200,duration 2 hrs
day3:
conventional paper 1:maximum marks 200,duration 3 hrs
conventional paper 2:maximum marks 200,duration 3 hrs

the total written exam is of 1000 marks and the interview is of 200 marks for which you would be called on the basis of your performance in the written exam

the eligibility for the IES exam includes you should have a minimum of the 60% of the marks throughout the career right for the 10th to the graduation that is the b tech degree ....
and you should be the citizen of the indian nationality ....

to apply for the IES exam you have to fill in the application form which can be purchased from the Head Post Offices of the various places and send in the completed form to the given address on the brochure before the last date ..to avoid any inconvenience......

There is no option to change examination venue for Engineering Services examination.

The change in examination venue can happen only by commission(UPSC) in case of

unavailability of seats in your preferred examination city.

Anyways, I would suggest you to consult at UPSC’s Facilitation Counter near Gate ‘C’

of its campus in person or over Telephone Nos.011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543

on working days between 10.00 hrs. and 17.00 hrs.

The last date of submitting application is

07.02.2011
(MONDAY)
Which is over.....

and the exam will be commence on

14.05.2011 (SATURDAY)

and it will be of 03 DAYS
