Eligibility for admission to IIT?
I am studying in std10th. I want to make career in IIT. Whether I am eligible of doing IIT?

you can do this! but first you pass the 12th with science and get marks above 80%. after you apply the form of IIT.
for this first you think that you you can do this and do work on your target. complete your basices of 10th and 12th. i am again saying you that first think that i can do this and work . best of luck! |

For doing IIT your qualifications should be 10+2.So try after you pass your 12th std.

Hello friend,
To join IIT, you must have qualified +2 level of examination with a minimum of 60% from a recognized board of studies. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to score a minimum of 55% in the same. Selection of candidate is done through Joint Entrance Exam. To be eligible for the exam, apart from the educational qualification mentioned above, you must not be over 25 years of age. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are eligible up to the age of 30 years. For further information, you may refer to the official website of IIT. |

i am going to appear for the 10th board next 2012 and i am thinking of applying for IIT Mumbai, what percentage should I get in 10th std and what will be the terms and conditions, will there be an entrance exam, can you pls guide me and what should i go in for any ??

NO. You have to complete your 10+2 before IIT-JEE.
You can give entrance paper for IIT is twice. After it you are not eligible for the entrance paper. Do Hard work and make very good percentage in 12th first. |

Hi,
eligibility for getting admission into IIT is by completing your +2 with maths , physics, chemistry as your subjects. you need to write AIEEE exam to get into it . you will get colleges based on your ranking |

do you actually know about iit . It is an institute of engineering. To take admission in this institute you have to clear the entrance examination which you can apply after your 12th std The minimum marks required for applying this exam is 60% in 12th std & also in PCM . SC/ST can apply upto 55% best of luck.......... |

To take admission in to IIT through the entrance,how much marks you should get ....You could not have a guess on it because every year it totally depends upon the cut off marks in corresponding section like physich,chemustry and maths...
So,better just don't think for being pass in the examination and try to crack it by scoring a high marks than its cut off. Best wishes |
