In recent days, we often see the recruitment of Probationary officers by several banks. The competition for these positions is going on increasing.
For most of the bank Probationary officers, the selection procedure will be by 1)Written test 2)Personal Interview. The written test may consists of several categories like 1)Reasoning 2)Quantitative aptitude 3)General awareness 4)General English 5)Computer/ Marketing knowledge. The eligibility criteria will be Academic qualification : -One need to have a graduation degree with a minimum of 55% and have to secure an aggregate of 60% in 10+2.(General) -There is relaxation in the percentage for other categories of candidates. Age criteria : -In order to eligible for the exam, one need to have an age between 21-30 years. |

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification: one must be graduate in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks....though the cut offs marks may vary from bank to bank. The cut off mark also vary for candidates of general and OBC category and candidates of SC/ST/PH category. Age limit: one should have crossed 21 years and should not have crossed 30 years.... Age relaxation is also there...... for PH candidates, there is 10 years relaxation. for SC/ST/ex-service man, there is 5 years relaxation. for OBC, there is 3 years relaxation. |

You should have completed your graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. you must be computer literate to be eligible for this course. minimum age 21 years and maximum 30 years of age for general/obc. There are relaxation for sc/st/sst and other. Selection Criteria: Examination will be held in two terms. First term(1st objective paper,discriptive paper). Second term-interview. Objective examination will consist of: i.Reasoning Ability Test ii.Quantitative Aptitude iii.General Awareness/Computer Knowledge iv.English Language In discriptive paper you will have to give the answers of 5 different questions on different topic(based on social economic and some social issues). If you will qualify then you call for interview. |

BANK PO Eligibility depends on bank you are applying and it vary from bank to bank like....
Age Eligibility Criteria for PO: Federal bank The Candidate must not be more than 26 years of age to be eligible for the post of Federal Bank’s Probationary Officer. ICICI Bank Candidates must not be more than 25 years of age to be eligible for this program. Dena Bank The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30.A person of more than 30 yrs of the age cannot apply....... State Bank of India Not below 21 years and not above 30 years .. and relaxation in age are (i)3 years in the case of OBC candidates (ii) 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen (iii) 10 years for VH/OH (Gen); 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates......... Well,it depends on the Bank.
Anyways,i am mentioning below general eligibility criteria.There will be only little variations according to banks. Eligibility Criteria for ICICI Bank’s Probationary Officer exam: 1. The applicant must hold his/ her Degree of Graduation from a government recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% in order to appear in the ICICI Bank’s Probationary Officer exam. 2. The age limit prescribed by the bank authorities is 25 yrs. A person more than 25 yrs of age is not eligible for the post of Probationary Officer in the ICICI Bank according to the guidelines provided by the bank. 3. The applicant must possess a good command over computer applications to be a part of the above mentioned programme. 4. The applicant must have the basic banking knowledge and skills to be a part of the above mentioned programme. Good Luck!! |

Though the eligibility criteria for most of the banks is that the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 55% from a government recognized university.
There are some banks like Central Bank of India which requires that the candidate must be a graduate with at least 50% aggregate from a Recognized University. AGE LIMIT And should be minimum of 21years and should not exceed 30 years |

Yes, you are eligible for the PO bank and bank clerical exam. Minimum criteria is 60% in graduation, since you satisfy the minimum eligiblity you are eligible for the both exams.
