Re: Eligibility criteria for doing B.Ed course in Mathematics?
Hi,
B.Ed is a teaching course. A B.Ed qualify teacher can teach 5 to 10 std. student. In B.Ed you have to choose any two subject to teach, one is language (Hindi, English, Maths etc.) and another will be Your subject (science,History,Geography,Economics etc.). If you want to do B.Ed, you must have about 50% in your graduation. To apply for B.Ed, they does not ask for marks in a particular subject, but they ask for overall percentage in your graduation that is 50%. If you have 50% in your graduation, then you can apply for B.Ed Entrance Exam. B.Ed Entrance Exam includes a written test, which includes - 1. REASONING QUESTIONS 2. TEACHING APTITUDE TEST 3. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE In some states they include language part also e.g question on Hindi, English or local language. It depends on your choice that on which language you want to write. BEST OF LUCK

Re: Eligibility criteria for doing B.Ed course in Mathematics?
hi dear,
You need to have at least 30 credit hours in Mathematics. Courses taught in a mathematics department are obviously acceptable (except in cases where computer science courses are taught in a mathematics department). Courses with significant mathematical content taught in other departments might be acceptable, but no more than 6 credit hours can be from such "cognate" courses and the acceptability of the courses will be determined at the time of admissions. |

Re: Eligibility criteria for doing B.Ed course in Mathematics?
Hello friend.....
B.Ed (Bachelor of education) is the degree required by any teacher at the school level that is secondary and the senior secondary level . Today B.Ed degree has become the most important for the government teachers without which candidates are not eligible to apply for the vacancy of the teachers in the government schools .... So the eligibility criteria for the B.Ed degree is the candidates must have at-least B.Sc or M.Sc in Mathematics or any other disciplines from any of the recognised university or board ... The B.Ed is a 2 years course .And even B.Ed can be done through the distant education without attending the classes from the organisations like that of the IGNOU,Sikkim Manipal , Maharshi Dayanand University Meerut and many others ... To take admission you have to face the entrance exams and qualify in them to get the admission .... so best of luck ... |
