Eligibility criteria for UPSC exam:- 1.candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from recognized university. 2.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. These are the eligibility criteria to appear in UPSC exam.. All the best.. |

Eligibility For UPSC Examination: 1: you must hold a degree of any of recognized Universities. Age:you should be age of 21 years and must not more than age of 30 years on 1st August, 2011 Exam Process:There are two stages of the examination. Stage I:The Preliminary Examination of objective type for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and Stage II:The Main Examination is of Written test and then Personal Interview for the final selection of candidates for the various posts. The main exam is yet to be held in October or November, 2011. FEE : (a) Candidates applying Online are required to pay Rs.50/- in any Branch of SBI by Cash or by Visa or Master Credit or Debit Card. UPSC conduct so many exams but the eligibility criteria of all exams are same .I have listed the eligibility criteria for UPSC exam.
UPSC related exams are IAS , IPS ,IES , NDA ,SCRA ETC. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university. AGE CRITERIA: For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years For SC/ST category candidates,only minimum age is required i.e 21 years. Graduation degree from a recognized university is the educational requirement for UPSC exam.Other eligiblity requirements are given below. Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC exam: Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year,in which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts: 04 attempts for open, 07 for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. their are many exam conducted by UPSC some of the exam like:- -NDA -CDS eligibility for NDA:- -Candidates who have cleared 10+2 and those who are currently doing can apply -Candidates appearing for the exam must be bachelors .They must be between16 1/2 to 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS:- - Candidates pass with Degree in any recognized university or equivalent for the post of Indian Military Academy, candidates passed with Degree in Engineering for the post of Indian Naval Academy, pass with Degree in a recognized university or Bachelor of Engineering with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 pattern for the post of Air Force Academy. -age is in between 19-24 year |

:: ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR UPSC EXAMINATION :: 1. A candidate must be a citizen on India 2. A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination. 3. Upper age limit is relaxed for 3 and 5 years for the OBC, and SC.ST candidates. 4. The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities. i.e. A graduation degree from a recognized university is a must for the candidate to appear for the examination 5. The maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held in 1984. In case other eligibility conditions apply: General candidates: 4 attempts. Eligibility Criteria For UPSC Exams There are several UPSC conducted exams like NDA,CDS,IES,etc but generally people confuse the UPSC exams with the Indian Civil Service Exams Eligibility :- In order to appear for the UPSC Civil Service Exams..a candidate must have the following minimum qualifications :- 1) You should be within the age limit of 21-30 years if you are general candidate,3 years age relaxation if you are an OBC candidate and 5 year relaxation if you belong to SC/ST 2) You should be a graduate or a final year graduate student from a recognized University.. The maximum number of attempts permissible for general candidates is 4, 7 for OBC and there is no limit for SC/ST Exam Pattern :- You need to clear 2 stages before you are called up for the interview and final selection.. The age limit for the Exam is 21-30 The age should be varied from paper to paper Every Exam they should have some certain age limit. for any Exam UPSC minimum graduate. Maximum age for the General category is 30 and for OB C candidates 33 and for the SC/ST candidates 35. I have completed my B.E Electrical Engineering course in may 2011 but still I have arrears .
I will finish up my arrears by june 2012 and get my degree by july 2012. Am I eligible to attend the prelims (csat) of upsc 2012. |

The UPSC conducts civil services examination every year in the month of may and june and its main exam in the month of december.The notification for this exam comes out in the month of january end.
The eligibility criteria for the UPSC examination is as follows: 1)A candidate should have a degree of graduation in any field from any recognized university. 2)A candidate in his fiinal year is also eligible for the civil services exam. 3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years.3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively. 4)A candidate must be an indian citizen. 5)Number of attempts: ->Four of general candidate ->Seven for OBC candidate ->No limit on attempts for SC/ST candidate. with warm regards, GOUTHAM. |
