Sorry to say, but you will not be eligible to apply for Technical Entry in AFCAT with 55% aggregate in B.Tech as the minimum required marks to apply for Technical Branch is 60 %.

One can apply for Technical Branch,Flying branch and Ground duty branch of Indian Air Force through AFCAT exam .

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test .

The eligibility criteria required for to join Technical Branch through AFCAT exam are as under :-

-The candidate should have passed Bachelor of Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university .

-The candidate age limit should be in between 20 - 26 years .

Physical standards requirements :

Height :

For Men : 157.5 cms

For Women : 152 cms

AFCAT is stand for Air Force Common Admission Test.

AFCAT exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree then you are eligible for flying branch exam but your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics. Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years.

If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering from a recognized University then you are eligible for Technical Branch exam. Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects from a recognized University then you are eligible for Ground Duty Branches. Your age should be in between 19 to 27 years.
