i am b.tech information tech. student want to admit in indian administrative service exame.Am i eligible for this exame or not?not then why?

For IAS examination the eligibility is graduation from any recognize university and age between 21 to 30. So you are eligible for the IAS examination. You can apply for IAS examination in the final year or after completing b.tech.

Yes you are definetely elligible to appear for IAS exam.
Criteria for IAS requires that you should be a graduate from recognized & valid university.
Also your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Yes, you are eligible for this exam. The minimum eligibility for this exam is graduation in any discipline . As you completed you graduation course, you can write the exam. First you have to clear the primarily and then mains.

yes you are eligible only after your completing your graduation.

minimum qualification required is bachelor degree

age limit 17-30 years

till then you are eligible

dear friend,
according to your educational qualification you are definitely eligible for UPSC IAS exam. so don't worry for that. you will have to pass civil services prelims and mains exam and then you will have to clear interview round, then only you can become IAS.

you can do IAS after B.Tech (Information Technology).

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the IAS exam.

and minimum 60% marks in btech is require to attain in the IAS exam.

age limit for IAS exam is 21-29 years.

Of course you are eligible because educatinal criteria for this exam is a graduate degree in any displine from a recognised university and age is between 21-30 for general category

IAS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Graduation with any stream from a recognized board or university.Since you have already completed your b.tech degree means you have completed your graduation so you have cleared this criteria .

AGE CRITERIA

(1)FOR GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENTS-21 to 30 years 1st july 2011. There is no any provision of age relaxation for general category .

(2)FOR OBC CANDIDATES-21 to 33 years . Means there is a provision of age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates.

(3)FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES-There is a provision of age relaxation upto 5 years for sc/st candidates . It means they can fill the form upto the age of 35 years.


NUMBER OF PERMISSIBLE ATTEMPTS

*4 attempts for general category students.
*7 attempts for obc category students.
*There is no limit for sc/st candidates. It means they can attempt as many times they want upto the age of 35 years.

Yes offcourse you can go for IAS exam.
Minimum education criteria = Graduate

Maximum age criteria = 28yrs (for General category and I think it is 32 years for SC/ ST categories)

CSAT 2011 exams will be conducted on 12th June. and last date of applying for the same is 21at March...

This time UPSC pattern is changed and it is called as CSAT which is coming into effect from Civil Services Examination, 2011.and so there is no option subjects...


It consits of two paper and each paper of Two hrs..


(Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of

  • Geography
  • Indian Polity and governance
  • Economic and social development
  • and General science.

It is of purely objective type and qualifying exam...

(Paper II) (200 marks)
  • Comprehension
  • Logical reasoning and analytical ability
  • Decision making and problem solving
  • General mental ability
  • Basic numeracy(Class X level)
  • English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

It is of purely subjective type and followed by interview....
Based on the overall ranking and your choice of cadre, you will be provided IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IAS or IPS. The higher your rank, the choice is with you.

Hello,

IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Eligibility for UPSC IAS exam: -

1. Pass Bachelor’s degree in any subject or in any engineering stream from a recognised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

Note: - A candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.

Eligibility

(ii) Educational Qualifications :

(iii) No. of permissible attempts :
Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs

* Preliminary Examination : It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination.
* Main Examination : It consists of written examination and interview.

The Preliminary Examination is held in May/June and the Main Examination in October/November.

yes you are totally eligible for IAS, assuming that
you have done B.Tech from a recognized college/
university.

there are certain eligibility that you must fulfill

age - 21 yrs to 30 yrs to gen category(4 attempts)
to 33 yrs (obc 7 attempts)
to 35 yrs (sc/st Attpmts: NA)
ages are take on 1st of august.

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:

Education qualification:

syllabus :

the 4 yrs course of engineering comes so go thoroughly go through 4 yrs course


eligibility:

you have to pass 12th class from PCM as main subject

you should be indian

you should have bachelor's degree of 4 years

age limit : 21 yrs there is no upper age limit
