Re: Eligibility for NET exam after 57% in MBA?
NET refers to National Eligibility Test and same examination is held by CBSE on the behalf of UGC for recruitment as JRFs ( Junior Research Fellowship ) and assistant professor in universities approved by UGC.
--> The minimum qualifications required for appearing in NET are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 28 years for the post of JRFs. There is no age limit for the post of assistant professor and there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your Master degree course ( in one of the subjects among the list of subjects available on the official link of NET ) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for SC/ST and PH category candidates. So having completed your MBA ( Master of Business Administration ) with 57% marks you are certainly eligible for NET as MBA degree is valid for appearing in NET.
