i want to know about the tcs new pattern.plz suggest me in a explored way.or what i can do for crack tcs

Hi,
The new pattern that they have adopted is online test.
In this test, unlike before you have to write the test online in front of computer.
The question pattern remains same like before i,e aptitude, antonyms, synonyms, logical reasoning, etc.
So prepare the aptitude and work out regularly and try to learn vocabulary, that will help you a lot.

in the tcs written exam is very similar to gre test,
if you follow the barrons gre text book properly that would be enough to clear the tcs written exam

1. VOCABULARY.(SYNONYMS) 40 BITS. 20 MARKS. 20MIN.
2. QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE 15 BITS 30 MARKS 15 MIN.
3. CRITICAL REASIONING.(COMPREHENSION) 50 BITS 50 MARKS 25 MIN.
4. PSYHOMETRIC TEST. 150 BITS 150 MARKS 30 MIN

250 MARKS 90 MIN

recently on nov 26 th tcs recruitment has been taken taken place in our college
at first u need to clear written test. for this u need to be well prepared for the questions that u have attempted for sample test- prepare recently attempted question papers
And try to attempt the question that u have known exactly . dont guess.
selecting pattern will be on how many correct were made rather than marks since the negative marking is there . It is a computer based
second day- the students who were passed will be called for technical round (C programming)
3. HR interview- be confident with good communication skills and body language

concentrate on ur projects

tcs written test is 35 questions in 80 mins. previously it is 60 mins but now time they increased.it is online test.
as per my knowledge questions for written test is always from previous papers.
so try to solve previous papers given by various user from freshers world.com
and also prepare r.s agarwal for quantitave aptitude.

i am giving some topics the questions always repeat from those topics.

1. Number system
2. pipes&cisterns
3. permutations&combinations
4. ages
5. time&distance.
6. cubes
7. simplifications
8. number series
9. averages
10.time&distance
11.probability
12.profit&loss
13.venndiagrams
14.puzzels
if you are perfect above topic you can easily pass for tcs written test.
and also i'm giving various types of questions it is very useful to you.

TCS has adopted a new exam pattern. It is now taking an online aptitude test.

The test consists of 2 sections:
quantitative aptitude
verbal aptitude

There is a negative marking of about 1/3rd.

You can refer these books while preparing for TCS exam:
Verbal aptitude - GRE Barrons
quantitative aptitude - R.S.Agarwal

please give me the topics from which tcs written questions will come.

you can crack TCS by solving only 70 pattern of TCS questions...which you can download

solve these it my guarantee you will solve minimum 30 out of 35 questions

on campus placement tcs criteria :
min 60% marks in class 10th ,12th and engineering .

1.they have their aptitude test where objective questions are asked related to aptitude
and puzzles .
2.those who clear aptitude test qualify for technical interview .
3.those who clear it then go for HR ..

TCS WRITTEN TEST INFORMATION

There is no technical subjects included in the TCS written test... Only quantitative aptitude and reasoning questions...


POINTS TO NOTE :

-> There are 35 questions in the written test which you have to complete in 80 minutes.

-> There will be no english questions.. but the aptitude questions which they will ask will be 5-10 lines big where you will be tested with your english skills automatically.

-> Attached the TCS question bank in this post.. just check it out, the question pattern will be followed from that..

-> And am sure you must have registered yourself in TCS openseesame portal by now, so just try to attend the mock test which is present in that... many questions from that will be repeated in the final exam

how to pass in apptitude questions

please suggest me the books for aptitude and verbal reasoning

how to crack tcs writtentest im already weak in maths. so please help me and i have only3-5 days

I dont have time to prepare.. I have my written on Tuesday & got to know just today.. plz suggest possible ways to crack this written test.
