basically U psc exam conduct two exams 1-preliminary
2-Mains,
so you have to clear 1st paper first to qualify for 2nd one
these are optional subject for 1st paper

General Studies, Essay, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany,Chemistry,Civil Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Electrical Engineering

A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on the first July of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relaxable in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes Other Backward Classes, Departmental candidates and such other categories of persons as may be decided from time to time.

but the new dates of examination not yet releaed.

for joining customs you should be appear in the ssc exam or upsc exam,
through both exam you can join as a customs officer.

one can be a customs officer,but for that they must have a graduation degree as a minimum qualification.
and then he has to write the exam of ssc conducted by staff selection committee,
exam is held every year,
