--- Yes, mechanical engineering has a very vast field and hence good scope even in United State.

--- Being a mechanical engineer, you can work in design sector, manufacturing companies, service companies, as a site incharge, as a mechanical consultant etc.

--- Even in US, there is good scope in Designing and Production sector.

--- You will get good salary with good professional designation in US.

--- But for that, you must have bachelor's degree from any well affiliated university/institute.

Yes. There will be good career scope for Mechanical Engineers in US. But to get easily and to be placed in a top job, you should have at least 2 years of work experience.

For freshers, it would be difficult to get jobs easily.

You did not mention whether you have any work experience or you want to crack US job opportunities as Fresher.

If you are fresher, try to be placed in India. work for couple of year. Have good work experience and then look for job opportunities in US.

You will be having most of the job opportunities in the area of Manufacturing or Design.

If you are looking for jobs in the area of Energy/Renewable Energy, then US is not the right place for you. There are no jobs at all in this area in US.

Rather than directly going for US and looking for jobs over there, join in a MNC in India.

Try to get onsite opportunity through H1B. Go to onsite and work there for 6 months. Then leave this job after getting a new job in US.

Many people do this in the real world.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
