is there any govt job for btech holders in it stream? I also want to know the type of jobs offered for candidates with this stream?

You can find yourself fit in banks as a Probationary Officer or Assistant Manager.

Also you can apply in PSU like petroleum companies and gas companies.

It would be better if you try in Bharat Electronics, ISRO or DRDO as a Scientist.

You will get a very good life and salary there.

there many such jobs available even in banking sector.Competitive exams are held for most of thes jobs you can go for it.
IT has a bright future with lots of software companies offering jobs like TCS,Infosys and others.
