I want to appear in INDIAN FOREST SERVICE in 2013.my optional subject are FORESTRY AND AGRICULTURE ENGINEERING. But ,I am unable to get material of agriculture engineering.Please suggest to me ,from where I will get materials.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service Exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC

Those candidate have graduation degree from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent are applicable for IFS exam.

Final year student are eligible for IFS exam,

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

I have attached some Question paper of IFS ( Agriculture Engineering ) exam so please check it out.Also observe the Question paper very carefully.

IFS---- Indian Forest Service

To get admission in the Indian forest service for the post of officer you are required to give and clear the different stages of this exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

For This you are required to be eligible for IFS exam ,hence the eligibiblity criteria is mentone below..

Education qualifications:::

#candidate having graduation in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or Agriculture or Forestry Engineering are eligible to appear in IFS exam.

#candidates in Final year of graduation in the above mentioned branches or streams are eligible to appear in IFS exam.

Age criteria::
Age of the candidate should be minimum 21 and a mximum of 30 years for candidates belonging to general category.however for SC/ST/OBC there is some relaxation provided in terms of age
