Hi,
After completing your 10th,if you have an aim of becoming Aeronautical engineer then don't take commerce, take science in your PU with any of these combinations PCMB,PCMC,PCME. After completing your PU in any of these science stream you can take any Engineering Entrance Exam and then opt for Aeronautical stream as you wish. All the Best |

Re: How to become a Aeronautical Engineer after passing 10th?
My dear friend its awesome that you are taking care of your future, but you are currently in class 19th only so it will be a long way for you to become a aeroonautical engineer in indian air force.
First you need to be good at physics, chemistry and maths to study in class 11th and class 12th so that you can opt for engineering to do your graduation, once you complete your engineering in mechanical and electronics then you will be eligible to apply for aeronautical engineer mechanical or electronics in indian air force. It comes under technical branch of indian air force which you can apply by fulfilling all the eligibility criteria of AFCAT, air force common admission test. Your should be 18 to 28 to apply for the same and you can also apply at final or pre final year of engineering through university entry scheme. In this you will be called for SSB directly there will be no written exam for ues but for AFCAT you need to give a written exam and after that you need to clear SSB for making your final selection through medical test. |

But if you join through entrance examination , you can get top colleges as well as fees also less compare to management quota . But you have to secure good marks in your entrance examination . ## Mainly seats are allocated to the candidate through merits basis that means cut-off marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics . Re: How to become a Aeronautical Engineer after passing 10th?
First of all if you want to become an engineer you have to take up science after 10th.
Then you can complete 2 years of education and clear the 12th standard. You will also have to give a few entrance exams so as to get in good engineering colleges but do keep in mind that all of the colleges do not have aeronautical engineering. An alternative way is to go for diploma after 10th and join an engineering college directly in the 2nd year. |

-> First , you should complete your 12th with pass percentage.
-> If you wish to do aeronautical engineering course in your state itself appear in entrance exam and get qualified ,based on your rank your admission will be decided . -> If you wish to do course in IIT/NIT appear in JEE- mains and JEE - advanced exams and get qualified . |
