Girls can not join Indian Navy after completion of 12th because according to UPSC girls are not eligible for Indian Navy after 12th.

Because if any one want to enter into the field of civil services after 12th then he/she has to give the NDA entrance exam and girls can not give the NDA entrance exam.



NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is entrance exam which is done after completion of 12th to go into the field of civil services.

As there are three types of civil services that comes under NDA:
1.Indian Navy
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Military

But girls can join the defense sector only and only after completion of their graduation.They can apply after completion of graduation through CDS entrance exam.

Girls can not join Indian Navy after completion of 12th because after 12th the students have to give the NDA entrance exam and girls are not eligible for NDA.So girls are not eligible for it.

Girls can only apply after completion of graduation.They can complete their graduation with any of the field to apply for civil services.After graduation,girls have to give the CDS entrance exam.

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I,
NDA-II.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational qualification:
12th standard from a recognised state or central board.
Percentage is not required for this exam.
For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:
Citizen of india.

Sorry, it is not possible to join Indian navy for women after 12th. She has to complete least graduation for several technical and non technical posts approved depending upon vacancy create.

With graduation candidate must have done their 12th with maths and physics. So candidate who have completed HSC apart from science stream not eligible for Indian navy.

After successful serving under Short service commission candidate can further work under permanent commission.

Indian Navy is one among the defence system of India.
It recruits candidates through two exams namely the NDA exam and the CDS exam.
NDA exam is conducted for the 12th pass students but girls are ineligible to apply for the Indian Navy after just passing 12th.
Now the second option-CDS ,which is conducted twice a year for the graduate students allows girls to join army provided they have completed 12th with science stream.
So the only option left with you to be selected in the Indian Navy is through CDS.
