its good to know about your interest...
dear for being an astronaut , oyu need to have science as your subject after 12.then go for graduation in b.tech or b.sc according to your interest(b.tech much better)
then you have to give certain entrance exam..
the best institute is INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION(ISRO) that conducts the exam....

You must have to take science stream in your 10+2. After that you have to give the exam like AIEEE or IIT JEE.

I'M in 9th what subjects i need to prepare to become an astronaut for NASA? ALSO SUGGEST THE colleges and universities need to be joined for this purpose.

BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR ASTRONAUT CANDIDATE PROGRAMME


1.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

HEIGHT - 62-72 inches

BP - 140/90

EYE SIGHT - 20/20 vision (corrective eye surgeries e.g lasik allowed)

2. QUALIFICATION

BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE
PHYSICAL SCIENCE
COMPUTER SCIENCE
OR
MATHEMATICS

(you should join best universities or colleges in above field and for that you have to appear for various entrance examination conduct by the universities /organisation like AIEEE,IIT-JEE,etc)

3.EXPERIENCE
- 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF RELEVANT PROFESSION
OR
1000 hours of pilot-in-command in jet aircraft.

4.A candidate has to be US citizen.

final selection is based on completeing the training including space stationsystems,robotics skills training learning russian and air craft fight readiness.

It can also be a degree in biology, math or some other physical science. But it will be ate your advantage if you have a Master’s or even a Doctorate. It looks like you prefer to carry on being a pilot. For this you will have to undergo at least 1000 hours in pilot training. You must also have a vision of 20/20 and pass the physical fitness exam.Strive wholeheartedly in a systematic manner to get an employment in NASA. Moreover, you need to carry out the PhD program after completing the Masters’ course. It seems like you wish to be a pilot. If you want to become a pilot, you have to undergo at least 1000 hours’ pilot training. In addition, you should pass the physical standards of fitness.
