hai
The minimum educational qualification is a successful completion of +2 with phy, che & maths as core subjects. Another one is you should have completed either b.tech/mca/me/bce as graduate. You shold als take a degree in electronics/ computer engg so as to get job in design/software engineer. |

Hi,
You are enough qualified and possess all talents to become a professional. Please Cheer up man. All you need now is to uplift your confidence and ego. Never ever underestimate your talents. Not each student in a class scores above 90% Firstly, I would advice you to join any Personality Development classes nearby. Secondly, you may join any reputed Institute which provides Java training with placement. You may also seek entry level position at call centers and gain experience and exposure to upgrade your position. All the Very Best for your future |

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
Hi,
Literally, Many top MNC's like Wipro, Infy etc looks for persons with extra talents, Extra curricular activities than their curriculam. People with 55% on papers got placed in these MNC's but with their exceptional ablities to perform in the personality rounds. So, What i mean is, Do develop your personality drastically, Like interpersonal skills, Vocal, Language proficiency, ability to communicate with people sporadically, Broad mind set etc. That's all. You are in. As i always say, Education never determines your career, Its your determination that determines your Career., All the best. |

You need not to worry much. Just specialized your self in a particular language. this will cover your percentages . if you are capable enough to solve any problem then the percentage of mark never affects.

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
Hello friend,
Don't loose hope because in today's market, marks really don't matter. All you have to do is to implement your skill in your job. There are many such job profiles that you can apply for in software industry. After some years of experience, it may happen that you can switch to high profile post. For starting a career in IT/Software industry, with gaining knowledge in software, you have to improve your communication skill, soft skill, presentation power and body language. I hope you will walk the right path with what you have. All the best! |

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
These days IT companies have become very strict and are hiring only the best. But you dont need to worry. You can fill up your lower percentage by doing some few courses realted to computers which can help you in your Job.
You can even try for some companies which take students at this percentage. Just give it a try in the interview. Not everytime your percentage will matter. Sometimes they even see your personality and communication skills. So best of luck |

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
Hello friend,
Ya you have very low percentage all through. Every software company demands at least 60% all through. So having this much percentage you cant survive in the field of software and information technology. But you have only option which may get you good job in software and other that is, you make yourself master in any one subject like C,JAVA, VB.NET, PHP, DBMS, ORACLE, LINUX ADMIN, UNIX PROGRAMMING, etc. In this way you get specialized in the particular subject. most conmpany demands for specialized candidate. so you can apply in these company you will surely get the good job.. good luck!!!! |

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
Hello Sir,
Present day IT companies count less for academics. So you need not worry for your academics.MNC's are recruiting students with these abilities even who had arrears. They need the candidates with presence of mind, communication skills, presenting skills more than that"Problem solving abilities". Develop your skills with some of standard books like R.S.AGARWAL'S Aptitude book,SAGUNTALA DEVI'S puzzle books. Also keep knowledge with DOTNET,JAVA,J2EE. With best regards. |

First of get yourself relaxed and note that nowadays there are lots of opening for freshers. You can check out openings on any job related website. Also looking to your education you can even apply in teaching field, If u want to go into BPO sectors then also you can go for it.These days BPO also pays handsome amount of salary for their technical assistance. In BPO there is not much consideration for percentage criteria. And finally if u want to continue in core computer field then go for some value added courses like " Microsoft Technologies (.net, VB/ASP), Java environment (JSP, J2EE, Struts), Oracle Discoverer, Application servers (Weblogic, Tomcat, Oracle), Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) ". do theses courses from institutes which give job 100% assistance |

Re: How can I get job in IT/Software field with this low percentage?
Hello,
Yes, your percentage is low which maybe a cause of worry. But look at the brighter side. You are highly qualified and im sure that there will be many companied who would want such a qualified person. You have done B.Ed and MCA, then i suggest it would be a good prospect if you apply in educational institutions such schools and engineering colleges for the post of a senior teacher or lecturer respectively as they are on the lookout for such people and generally they dont have such highly qualified people. And if you get a teaching job, then side by side you can apply in IT firms. So you'll have a job and can as well fish for better jobs Hope you find my advice good. Good Luck! |

dear friend,
As you have a very low percentage of marks then you can't get job in various reputed companies like IBM,TCS,Infosys,Wipro etc as they put a criteria of 60% through out. But you can get job in other companies which doesn't put any criteria of marks & recruit the candidates through walking interviews. You should post your resume to the following websites which will alert you after any job will come in market as per your profile. The websites are: www.naukri.com www.freshersworld.com www.monsterindia.com etc. They will alert you through Email or via sms. good luck. |
