how to prepare for the Gate exam ? Please tell me the details about it

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering and the examination is conducted by the IIT for those aspiring candidates who want to take higher studies (M.tech) from the government college as of IITand NIT. It also plays a crucial role in getting the jobs in PSU.

The eligibility criteria for the examination are candidates who have passed graduation from a recognized university in any of the B.tech stream are eligible. There is no limitations on number of attempts for the examination. The examination is conducted only in online mode.

To get success in the examination I will suggest you to go with the regular revision of your main stream topic as large number of questions are asked from it. Go with the Quantative Aptitude,Reasoning Ability and General Knowledge. There is separate cut off for each of the stream in the examination.

So if you go with the above routine you will definitely qualify in the entrance examination of GATE. GATE score are valid for three years. So work hard to get success.
