Re: How to do LLB from Calcutta University after completing graduation with 57%?
Many Universities all through
India offer the 3 years LLB program. You can pursue the same from a recognized institute. You haven’t specified where you are staying. Some of the institutes that offer the course are NLSIU, Bangalore, Amity Law School, Delhi, NLIU, Bhopal and so on. You can also pursue the Bachelors’ program in Law in Symbiosis Law College, Pune, Faculty of Law, DU, Delhi or in Government Law College, Mumbai. The eligibility criterion to do the program is a pass in the Bachelors’ degree in any streams. The percentage requirement may vary with Universities. For getting Law admissions in Law institutes, you have to attend Law entrance tests. Better visit the official website of the college in which you wish to join the course. The admission process to join the course will be mentioned there. |

Re: How to do LLB from Calcutta University after completing graduation with 57%?
You can apply for LLB course if it is still offered by the Calcutta University. A lot of universities have shifted to integrated LLB course also known as BA LLB. The integrated LLB course has the duration of 5 years.
This course is pursued after 12th and it includes a bachelor course. Therefore instead of doing a 3 years graduation followed be 3 years LLB, candidates can apply for 5 years long integrated LLB course. If LLB is still being offered in Calcutta University then feel free to apply for it. You are likely to meet all the norms to apply for LLB course as set by the Bar Council of India. Just remember not to apply for correspondence course. Bar Council of India does not recognize any law degree which is pursued through distance education/correspondence mode. Candidates with such degrees are not allowed to appear in the court as lawyer. LLB Eligibility 1. Candidate should have bachelor degree in any discipline. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST candidates need 40 percent marks. 4. The maximum age limit to apply for LLB is 30 years. 5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. |

Dear Friend,
If the Calcutta university is offering LLB course then you can go for it if you have the following qualifications : * you should have completed graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university. * you must have a minimum of 55% marks in graduation. * your age must lie in between 21-28 years. * Relaxation in upper age is also granted to Reserved Category candidates. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
