Banking sector provides great job opportunities for Graduate passed candidates. There are total 23 private sector banks in india and they provides dream jobs to graduate candidates. Private sector banks open with an aim of Financial Inclusion.

The working environment in Public sector banks and private sector banks are mostly the same. Among 23 Private sector banks, few are well known banks i.e. HDFC, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ING Vysya Bank, Indus Ind Bank.

Private sector banks Publishes the notification of Clerical and PO Posts every year. They need huge amount of Candidates for Clerical and PO Posts. But the selection criteria for Private banks and Public banks are different.
Public sector banks select candidates on the basis of IBPS Scores and well as performance in Interview. It means, you need to appear for the Written test conducted by IBPS and when you crack the written test and score more than minimum qualifying marks then only you are eligible for Final interview. Candidates select finally when (Interview + Written Marks) Merit Publishes by the Banks.

But Private sector banks criteria is different, they recruit candidates through written test or as well as through Walk-ins. Selection procedure in Private Banks in on the Basis of Performances, Experience and Qualifications.
Some good private sector banks recruits candidates through written test and Interview. Those who qualifying written test and Interview are eligible for "Banking Course" and when they finally passed in Banking degree course are eligible to Join Bank as a position of Probationary Officer (PO).

Private Banks directly selects candidates for Clerical Post through Written test or Walkins. The detailed procedure is available in their official websites. To apply for Private sector banks you must have completed your graduation in any stream with good marks and your age should between 20 to 25 years.
Note: Most Private Banks do not select candidates above the age of 25 years. 25 years is the maximum age criteria to apply for Private sector banks.
