i am student of B.A 2nd year.
How can i join Indian Army as per a officer after passin B.A?

Indian Army can be joined through CDS after Graduation Degree in any stream.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army(IMA) of CDS, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Hence after doing B.A. 2nd year, you are not eligible to apply for CDS which you can do in the final year of B.A. exam.

HI!
After passing B.A or while pursuing Final Year B.A course you are eligible for Indian Army.
For joining Indian Army you have to qulaify the C.D.S exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

For C.D.S exam you have to pass any graduation course from recognized University.

After passing diploma course you are not eligible for C.D.S exam.

Age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year.

After passing B.A. Graduation you will be eligible to apply for CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC.

But as you are a B.A. Graduate means you will be only eligible for Indian Army through CDS examination.

Age Limit for CDS Exam:

Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

Officers' Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

Selection Procedure:

-Objective Type Paper

-SSB Interview

-Medical Examination

You must be medically fit otherwise you will be rejected during medical examination.

Any of the following ailments are not allowed in Indian Army:

-Flat Foot

-Knock Knee

-Varicose Veins

-Color Blindness

-Poor Eyesight
