To join army after your B.tech, Please follow the following steps.

there are following option to join army :


1) CDS exam.

2) Direct SSB interview.

1) CDS exam : CDS stands for the Combined defense service. the exam conducted by the UPSC and held twice in a year. You can join in your last year of b.tech degree. The following are the age limit for the exam are :

You should have a B.tech degree from recognized university with minimum 60% marks.
Your age limit should be between 19 to 25 years.
There are also age relaxation for the SC and ST category.
You must have Indian citizenship.
You should be physically and mentally fit.

2) Direct SSB interview : After completing your b.tech You can join the Indian army through UES ( University entry scheme). You are eligible to direct SSB interview.
Following are the eligible criteria for the UES.

You should have a B.tech from recognized university with minimum 60%.
You should be physically and mentally fit.
You should have 60% marks in B.tech.

You can join Indian army after b.tech by applying cds exam.
CDS Means Combined Defence Service
This Examination is conducting by Union Public Service commission Two times in a Every Year
For This Examination The following are the Qualifications
Qualifications Required for The CDS Exam
Should be citizen of India
All Unmarried Males and Females are Eligible
Should be Completed Graduation from The Any Discipline University
Age Should be between 19-24 Years
If You have above Qualifications Than Only You can Join in Indian Army

Joining Procedure for Indian Army

TGS for ENGINEERs

Recruitment twice a year and that will be notified in the Employment news and many Daily newspapers

Notification will be around in May/Jun and Nov/Dec

Eligibility Criteria : Age should be between 20 and 27.

Qualification : BE / B Tech final appearing & degree holders in notified streams of Engineers

Marital Status: Both Married an Unmarried are accepted.

Candidates can apply online as notified by the organisation in the newspaper.

Date Commencement of Training in Jan and Jul at IMA.

Duration of Training is one year.



SHORT SERVICE COMMISION (TECHNICAL)

Recruitment is done twice a year and that will be notified in the Employment news and many Daily newspapers

Notification will be in Dec/Jan and Jun / Jul

Eligibility Criteria : Age should be between 20 to 27.

Qualification : Engineering Degree in notified discipline.

Marital Status : Both Unmarried and married are accepted.

Candidates can apply online as notified by the organisation in the newspaper.

Date Commencement of training in Oct and Apr.

Duration for the training is 49 weeks.

You can join army by qualifying CDS. CDS exam can be attended during final year of engineering. Through CDS, you can join to navy or air force also. Another option to join defense is direct interview. For this, you must qualify B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks.
