10th candidates are not eligible to join Indian Navy.

You must be 10+2 appearing or passed to be eligible for joining Indian Navy.

After passing 10th, you must choose PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your core subjects if you had decided to join Indian Navy in future.

Now, when you are appearing for 10+2 then you can apply for a defence exam called NDA (National Defence Academy).

NDA is conducted by UPSC every year in January and August.

Eligibility Requirements:

• You must be 10+2 passed/appearing with Physics and Mathematics (especially for Air Force and Navy).
• Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
• Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
