You will not be eligible to join at the officer level. For that you need to complete graduation in B.Sc (Physics and Maths) or B.E. The maximum age limit is 24 years. Since you are a NCC C certificate holder you are eligible for direct entry. So you will not need to appear for any entrance exam.

After 12th one can apply for 10+2 B.tech entry, this is a direct entry, a candidate should had to appeared in the last jee mains exam that was held before the notification of this entry and also a candidate should have PCM as their subjects with 70% in class 12th to apply.
Thus candidate should be called after their merit based on 12th class percentage and hence call letter should be provided on their Indian Navy official website account.
A candidate has clear the selection procedure which includes picture perception test, intelligence test, group discussion and many more.
Therefore, after clearing all the stages, one should also have to appear in the medical test through which you would get to know that you are physically fit or not for Indian navy.
After completion of all the stages and test. A candidate should have to go through a 3 year training after which they are ranked as SUB LT.
Hence, time to time promotion will be done.
