How to join Merchant Navy for 29 years old BTech Mechanical graduate?
Hello everyone, I am 29 years of age and I am interested to join Merchant Navy now. I have done BTech with Mechanical Engineering. Kindly tell me how can I join Merchant Navy now? Waiting for your response. Thank you!

After completion of B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical), One can become a marine engineer after pursuing 1 year GME (Graduate Marine Engineer) course. Upper age limit for GME course is 28 years. So, If you belongs to reserved categories, then and then you are eligible to pursue GME course having age 29 years.
GME Course Eligibility - Only unmarried candidates are eligible. - You must have passed B.E/B.Tech in mechanical or naval architecture with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. - Age Limit : 17 to 28 years. Upper age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. - Eyesight : distance vision 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in other eye. - You must be medically and mentally fit.
