My name is bikram gogoi.i am 12th passed..m a 19th year old.my height is 5.12 feet.i want to join either nda or airforce.how can i ?

NDA stands for National Defense Service.The NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice to take qualified students into defense service like
>>Indian Air Force wings
>>Indian Navy wings
>>Indian Army wings

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:
For Indian Air Force wings/Indian Navy wings:You should have completed 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
For Indian Army wings:You should have completed 12th class with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

After fulfill this criteria,then you can apply for NDA exam to join in Indian Air Force.

NDA Exam notification details for this year:
NDA-I exam notification release on 31st Dec 2011,closed on 30th Jan 2012 and exam going to held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification will release on 5th May 2012,closes on 4th June 2012 and exam will held on 19th August 2012.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II.

To Joining in NDA the candidate have to passed their intermediate(12th) examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no specific qualification for this examination.Final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for NDA examination.

NDA examination is conducted for :-

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air force

Eligibility Criteria :-

To join in Air force then you have to completed your intermediate(12th) examination or equivalent examination from a recognized School and those who are appearing in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for NDA examination.

To apply for Air force examination the candidate must have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.

Air Force can be joined through NDA by appearing its examination.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness, is eligible to appear for NDA.

To join Indian Air Force of NDA, the candidate should pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The registration process for NDA-I 23012 exam has already been completed, the exam will be on 15.04.2012.

If you are interested you can appear for NDA-II 2012 exam, the notification for which will come out in the month of May 2012 followed by exam on August 2012.

Yes you are eligible for N.D.A exam..
N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Dear friend


after 12th then you have to qualify the N.D.A exam..
Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year. Here you will be permanently commissioned in army


but your already 19yrs so this would be last chance

you can join defense service even after you complete your bachelor's degree from recognized university
{but if you do join for BE or MBBS then you have a chance to go for SSB/SSC selection camp directly without appearing for written test conducted by upsc (provided your college provides campus selection for defense)}

after completion of your degree you can write CDS exam then go for selection camp , then on all India merit bases selection takes place


age limit 21-27 year
Here you have choice depending upon you all India merit ranking for permanent commission or short service commission
