Re: How many hours a 9th standard student should study?
Number of hours the student should study depends completely upon the student. For intelligent students, it is not necessary to study 9-10 hours every day. They might compete their syllabus within a short span of time by just studying for 3-4 hours a day whereas, an average student might have to work a bit hard and should study depending upon the task. By task I don't mean any homework that you get from the school, but the word Task here refer to the target taken by the student to achieve each day. This is the best way to prepare for any exams of any standard. You must divide your syllabus depending upon the time you have got for the exams. By dividing the syllabus, you will get to know the exact number of chapters you need to complete each day and based on that, you should prepare irrespective of how much time you need everyday to complete it.

students knowledge and talent bring from past performance its the right time for you to ask such questions because its already high class and next year you are going to give your 10th exams which will decide your career so according to me you need to start working hard. look as you are in 9th then you need to give 3-4 hours to your study after school if having tuition then you need to give minimum 2 hour in that hour you not need to consider your homework only you need to study and best is always study with the help of pen and notebook and give more time to maths ,science and social science these are the subjects which creates problems to 9th standard student |

Class 9th syllabus is toughest for students. But it needs regular practice of subjects everyday to get good marks. You should study just 2-3hours everyday(not too much),but without any distractions. First of all keep your mobile switched off during the period and put full concentration on what you study. Of course 10 mins break should be taken in between sometimes. And complete your syllabus according to a plan or a goal set everyday. Thank you and all the best!!!!:-D |

Re: How many hours a 9th standard student should study?
Hi it is Up to you. Normally 2-3 hours of study is enough.
If you are interested you can even study even more. some of the tips to study smartly and to save time is 1.Understand the things what you are studying 2.Teach it-that is teach to people who don't understand.this will help you a lot 3.Identify patterns in your Information so that you won't forgot what you have studied. 4.Don't leave anything in between the things. 5.Don't learn the same subject for more than 2 hours. It will bore you,so switch between the subjects. |

Re: How many hours a 9th standard student should study?
My dear friend,
You have to study near about 4 hours after the school period because 9th class is just simple.Just revise all the things that you have done in your school. You have only i think 5 or 6 subjects in 9th which are much easier so don't take stress ;just learn and gain. Thank u!! |

Eat and sleep well before an exam. Also, it is okay to give yourself a break. You don't need to study 24/7. You can plan out by making a target of finishing a chapter in an hour and then taking a break by doing what you really love and which makes you fresh again. Get plenty of rest (but not too much) before the big exam. Provided the fact that you've been doing lots of exercise, this will automatically make you feel active and concentrate well while answering questions. People who keep up a healthy lifestyle also have a knack for avoiding careless mistakes- vital for tests which require 'formulae-like' thinking, i.e. Maths. Try to eat foods which help you remember things better, like raisins (the more the merrier, but don't eat a whole box in one go!), nuts, and salmon. |

Re: How many hours a 9th standard student should study?
It is not necessary for a brilliant student to study for 8-9 hours daily as they could finish their syllabus in just 3-4 hours. But an average student must work hard for at least 5-6 hours daily.
