how much percentage i need to enter indian navy....Please tell me the detials

There is no percentage Requirement to join Indian navy.

You can join Indian navy through These two exam;-

NDA and CDS exam

NDA exam stands for nation defence Academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. To join this exam,you must be 12th standard from a recognized university. your age should be between 16.5-19 years. you must be unmarried male candidates.

After graduation ,you can join CDS exam to join Indian navy.

Your age should be between 19-23 years.

You must be unmarried Candidates.

You must be physically as well-as mentally fit.

Both exam are conducted by UPSC.

Percentage Requirement For Indian Navy

There are 2 ways by which you can gain entry to the Indian Navy :-

CDS

NDA

CDS (Combined Defence Services)

Conducted every year in February and September..

Minimum requirements to appear for CDS are :-

> Candidate has to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized institution or University..

> Age has to be between :-

>> For Air Force - 19-23 years
>> For Indian Military Academy - 19-24 years
>> For Indian Navy - 19-22 years
>> For Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 years

NDA (National Defence Academy)

National Defence Academy Exam can be attended by candidates who fulfill following conditions :-

> Candidate has to be unmarried male

> Age has to be more than 16.5 years and less than 19 years..

> Minimum educational qualification has to be that of 12th pass with Mathematics and Physics as subjects in 12th for joining the Indian Navy

NDA is conducted in April and August..

The conducting body for both the exams is UPSC http://upsc.gov.in

There is no percentage restriction for appearing either in NDA or CDS..

Indian Navy can be joined basically in two ways:- one after 12th through NDA and other after Graduation through CDS entrance exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Navy, must be an Unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Miliatry Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Navy, of CDS, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 22 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Percentage is not required to join in Indian Navy. For joining in Navy you have to write NDA exam.NDA means National Defense Academy exam which is conducted twice in a year in months of the March and August.
Eligilbility:-
1. Age limit:- 16(1/2) to 19 years.
2.Sex:- unmarried males only.
3.Nationality:- India.
4.Eduaction:- 12th or equivalent

Dear friend ,

Well to join Indian navy there are two exams that you can give ( any one) which is conducted by UPSC every year , twice in a year .

The exams are : CDS and NDA exam .

> > For appearing in NDA exam your educational qualification must be 10+2 with PCM subject having a combination subject of English too with 55% from recognized board .

> > Your Age must be 16.5 years - 19 years ( not above that , however relaxation is been given to reserved category )


For appearing in CDS exam : Graduation degree is needed from recognized college .

> > Age must be 19 years - 23 years .

> > candidates has to be mentally and physically fit too .

> > Must be unmarried .

* * NDA exam can be given only by male candidates , whereas CDS exam is applicable for both ( Male as well as Female) **

To join in indian navy,there is no minimum specified percentage required.You need to appear for NDA exam after completing 12th class as a qualification.The eligibility criteria to appear for NDA exam is:

to join in Indian Navy no minimum marks is needed,only needed a 12th standard from the recognized board with the subject's physics/chemistry/mathematics to appear NDA entrance examination and after cracking NDA you can join in your favourite wing Indian Navy.

-Your age should be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Must be an unmarried Indian male.

-Eye Sight must be normal eg 6''/6'' free from color blind & night blind.

-Height & weight must be normal minimum 157cms & 42kgs.

You can go in Indian Navy after passing 12th.
UPSC conducts 2 examinations NDA & CDS.
the educational qualification for NDA is 12th,
and for CDS is Graduation..

Age limit:- for NDA 16.5 to 19 & for CDS 19 to 23..

Unmarried candidates are only eligible for appear these examinations..
