How much percentage should I score to become eligible to appear for IAS exam?
m a 12th class commerce student. how much % i must score to become eligible for appearing in this exam and wht should i do after 12th to become an ias???? plz tell me.....

There is no restriction of marks for IAS exam. if you have completed your graduation then you are eligible for the IAS exam. your age should be between 21-30 years for the exam. IAS PROGRAMME OUTLINE IAS EXAM PATTERN Thank you all the best |

Hi,
there no minimum percentage required to eligible for become IAS officer. Just pass the graduation from a recognized university. IAS stands for Indian Adminstration Service. This exam conducted by the upsc once in a year. Eligibility: the candidate complete the graduation with any stream from a recognized university. The candidate need no minimum percentage required to eligible for this exam. The candidate must have citizen of india. The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam. Number of attempts: For General Candidates candidates :- 4 Times For OBC candidates :- 7 Times For SC/ST candidates :- No Limit till the age of 35 years . Syllabus of IAS: Economics Electrical Engineering Geography Geology History Law management Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Medical science Philosophy Physics Political science Psychology Public Adminstration Sociology Statistics Zoology Agriculture Animal Husbandry Botany chemistry all the best. |

There is no provision for percentage of marks criteria to be eligible for IAS exam.
IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one should appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC once every year0 The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years. IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exams are conducted by UPSC and minimum qualification required for this exam is Graduation from a recognized University. DETIALS OF UPSC IAS EXAM: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.
