Exam preparations can be started by downloading the syllabus from the UGC website. Paper I for the test includes questions on teaching and research aptitude. The other two papers comprises of subject related questions only. So emphasis must be given to the last two papers, since they carry more marks. Routine preparation using reference books is an efficient method. Work out previous year’s question papers as much as possible to gain usability of questions.
