me gonna hav my first interview with tcs on december i need to prepare for technical interview nd hr,i m of eee dept ,hw my preparations should be?

My TCS Interview Experience

hello friends i am Sanjay delhi. I am sending my experience about the recruitment of TCS.
the written test of us held on 30-8-05 at OIST BHOPAL .from 3000 students nearly
600 people are called for the interviews on 20 and 21 of august at mumbai.

written test- written test is exactly in accordance with the usual pattern of the TCS

ENGLISH SECTION:- 1) the antonyms and synonyms are exactly from barron's book .yo are required
to prepare 750 words from the list.

2)The paragraph that i get was also from the barron's paragraph--the paraagrap of american
nigro writers from the model paper no. 4.

3)The fill in the blanks are not belong to the barron's but they were so easy.

APTITUDE-please solve previous papers of TCS aptitude questions are exactly repeated copy of previous papers

CRITICAL REASONING:- 1) new albio sanatory problem of one of the papers of baron.
2)a problem related to five people in which one is speaker,one is writer and other and you have to find a group with certain restrictions
a problem of baron model paper.
3)a problem related to football ,hockey ,basketball players it is also belong to baron.

the Q.2 and Q.3 of critical reasoning are very very easy and you can solve them also very quickly if you are seeing them first time.

i have cleared my written test and then called for the TECH. andHR interview on 21-8-05 in mumbai.E

firstly you have to prepare aptitude qustions from R S Agarwal to paas the written exam of TCS and then after passing the writen exam to face the technical interview you shoud read about the varios type of languages like
1. c Language
2. c++ Language
3. DSA
4. JAVA
these languages are mostly asked in the technical interview of TCS.

Please tell me Questions on DBMS concepts

Dear friend,
You need to study any three subjects from your choice at the best, you have to know each small things about those subjects.For HR just have to be be very friendly,polite,good presence of mind.Most important thing never interrupt your interviewer.Some time they try to confuse you but never get confuse,be confident with each of your answer.

You wants to prepare for the technical interview of TCS, For that you have to clear the basic concept in your technical papers..
They generally ask you about your best subject..
So, choose a subject in which you have more clear concept..
Mentioned that subject in your resume..
They will ask you questions related to that subject..
prepare yourself in that subject.. Clear all the doubts in that subject...
Don't get nervous, they will ask you simple questions , basic questions..

well just concentrating on your one question about the scope of MSc IT then i will like to say you that it is having a immense scope and beyond imagination as far as i am concerned IT-companies absorb you just like a blotting paper absorbs ink, after your MSc degree in IT . i will certainly reffer you to go for it as you have said that you have ample of experience as a desktop support engineer and along with that your MCSE certification will work as a fuel for you to boost up your career growth after doing MSc IT.

How should I introduce myself infront of HR? Wht are the things to mention in the introduction?

which subjects are perfect for a I.T student?

TCS is one of the best IT-Solution cum outsourcing company in world as well as No.1 MNC in India,having employee near about two lakhs till 2011-12.

In campus requirement they take aptitude test and then Technical interview with HR interview in a same table according to their need.

According to me you should get prepared for the TCS requirement six months before they come to the process.

1:According to me,maintain a time table to allow yourself to devote minimum 6-8hrs per day for the aptitude and technical interview

2:Study the Syllabus of any of your two basic subjects.

3:Then try to collect the base or main material of any subject.

Basically,they test your technical base knowledge in C,C++,Java and your favorite subject

Confidence,

Smartness,

Positive Attitude and Body Language,

Eye contact to the Interviewer,

Gentle Smiling face

Dear friend,
They may ask you from anywhere like from the subjects of 1st year-4th year.
It entirely depends on the interviewer.
For preparation you should get ready yourself in at least 2subjects from your departmental background so that you will be able to answer anything from the subjects.
You must have an enriched knowledge in any of the programming languages like-C or JAVA.

If you want to do preperation for tcs interview than one thing is very

important and also very helpful to get job in TCS.First thing you should have

knowledge about any perticular field.There are two best options are present

for you.You can choose Embedded system or VLSI.Its depend on you.So

choose any one field and you should have knowledge about the field.

You can also have knowledge about programming language like C and C++

language.So its very helpful for your interview.

In TCS after completing the aptitude round you have to go for HR Interview round there the interviewer may ask you the technical question and also the HR question.


1.>In inter view round you have to be smart,confident enough.

2.>and answer a question directly and loudly by which he can understand easily.keep eye contact with the interviewer.

3.>keep the gentle look.

4.>reach the interview place before the reported time,which has mentioned.
