I prefer u should do LLB after 12th.......... it will be helpful in civil service examination......

HI SIR, I HAVE PASSED MY 12th IN 2011 WITH NON-MEDICAL STREAM, SO NOW I WANT TO BECAME AN IPS, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT I AM DO FOR IT? WHICH TYPE OF COURSES SHOULD BE RECOMMENED TO GIVE A CIVIL EXAM?

Being 12th standard candidate ,your not eligible for IAS Examination . The Minimum Educational Qualification required to Apply for IPS Examination you should qualified in Bachelor degree from recognized University then only your eligible for IAS Examination .

It is an Civil Service Examination . This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission . This Examination is held every once in a year .

~~ The Applicant should be Citizen of India

~~ The both the Male and Female Applicants are eligible to apply for this Examination

~~ The Applicant should Complete Under graduation Course in any discipline from recognized University .

~~ The Applicant age should be 21 years to 30 years .

~~ The Applicant should be Physically as well as Mentally fit .

Important :-

~~ There is no Minimum Percentage of marks require for the IPS Examination .

~~ Upper age relaxation will applicable ,

-3 Years for OBC candidates and
-5 Years for sc/st candidates .

As you are interested for IPS officer for this you have to appear Civil Service Exam Through UPSC , The details eligibility criteria for this exam...........

*The candidates should be a graduate in any stream from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC category.
*Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.
*The candidates should be a citizen of India.

IPS is conducted by upsc twice in year
month of june and december.
For applying IPS you should have
complete your graduation with
minimum 55%.
Age limit between 21 to 30 years.
