How to become an IPS officer after studying in 12th?


sir,i am studing in 12 and my aim was to become as a ips officer.so i decide to prepare for my aim .my question is what the books i want to study and send me a last 10 yers quetion paper

Dear,

IPS stands for Indian Police services. It is the most reputed post that comes with certain facilities plus lots of responsibilities. Therefor procedure to become an IPS is also a bit difficult so that only selected, deserving an fit candidates are taken for this.

Eligibility:
  1. The minimum educational qualification of an IPS officer is Graduation under any recognized Indian University with any stream.
  2. Age in case of general candidates is 21-30 years where 3 and 5 year relaxation is given to OBC and SC/ST students.

There are following steps for the selection process:
  1. Preliminary exam
  2. Main exam
  3. Interview and medical test.

You will be selected for proceeding process after qualifying the preceeding process.

For prepartion it would be better if you join any coaching as it will guide you in righht direction plus you will have some practice before the catual test. Also you need to devote equal time for your self study as well. For self study you need to have some good books with you. On ebook that you must have is:

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service


A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline with atlest 55% from recognise universities.

Final year students are also applicable.

Age Limit:


General category student:- 21-30 years.
OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years.
SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years.

No. Attempt:


General - max. 4
OBC - max. 7.
SC/ST - No limit.

Exam Pattern:

Hi,

IPS is conducted by UPSC .

The entrance exam is known as CSAT.

The eligibility to sit for CSAT are-

You should be a graduate from a recognized university.

You age should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years, if you belong to a general category

If you belong to OBC category, then your age should be between 21 years to 33 years.

If you belong to SC / ST category, then your age should between 21 years to 35 years.

You will have to qualify three stages to become an IPS officer.

Prelims
Mains
Medical examination/ Interview.


First you should complete your graduation in order to apply for CSAT and you can join a good coaching in your area and start preparing for IPS examright from the first year of your graduation.

Hi Friend.......

I appreciate your choice but, there is no choice become a IPS officer with 12th standard

because the minimum educational qualification for IPS is any bachelor of degree from any university

aspirants first crack the CIVIL examination, this examination is conducted for IAS/IPS services by Union Public Service commission

for this examination some eligibility criteria are there i.e.

>> Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university

>> Final year appeared students also eligible for this examination

>> there is no percentage required for this examination

>> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

>> Candidates should be a citizen of India

>> Selection Procedure

Mains Examination

Interview Test

For becoming it true you have to first of all complete your Graduation Degree in any Discipline.......

Then You have to apply for Civil Service Examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.....

Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is conducted through UPSC once in a year for which candidates have to appear CSAT exam , There are certain eligibility criteria which also candidates have to fulfill....

*The candidates should be a graduate in any stream from a recognize university,The final year students those who have applied for the exam or going to appear the exam they can also apply for this post...

*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
There is a upper age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates

*The candidates should be a citizen of India.

Sir this year i will pass my 12th std....and my AIM is to become a sucessful IPS OFFICER........I want to do something for my nation.........sir plz ...give me some of the tips, to start my future correctly. sir plz tel me that how to start my IPS studies. what I have to do, what books I have to refer. and sir I am a science student so, can I do BBA.......or I must do BSC.....

After studying 12th one is not eligible for IPS as the minimum cademic qualification for this is Graduation.

IPS - Indian Police Service, to become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness.

The candidate aspiring for IPS should have minimum prescribed physical requirement.

The selection is through two stages of written exam followed by Personal Interview.

There is No Minimum Percentage of marks required for IPS Examination......

Final years students also eligible for this exam....

You can become an IPS officer after completing graduation.
