Is the IAS Exam pattern changed?
plz tell me whether the ias examination pattern has been changed ???
cld 12th pass students also give the entrance exam?? what are the age limits?? how to apply? |

Yes the pattern for UPSE has changed as the Prime Minister has approved the proposal for introduction of Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) in place of the existing Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. The CSAT is expected to come into effect from Civil Services Examination, 2011.
It consist of two paper and each paper of Two hrs.. (Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of Current events. History Geography Indian Polity and governance Economic and social development and General science. (Paper II) (200 marks) Comprehension Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision making and problem solving General mental ability Basic numeracy(Class X level) English language comprehension skills (Class X level) |

yeah
the pattern of ias examination has been changed with effect from upsc 2011 civils exam that means the aspirants who are taking exam in 2011 are facing new pattern of the exam the previous pattern with a preliminary exam is replaced with a exam named csat(civil service aptitude test) this was appreciated many quarters of professionals.. all the best |

Hi,
The pattern has changed. Now prelims(CSAT) will not contain any subject. It will comprise of Aptitude ans GK only. Also the pattern has not changed so much that even 12th students can give it. You need to first graduate,then only can apply. |

Yes, the pattern for the IAS exam 2011 is changed. instead of the old style there will be CSAT exam.
The focus will be on: >Mental ability >reasoning >Analytical Skills >Logical and data interpretation. >Aptitude Prepare well on these topics and go for it!!! You can apply for it at www.upsc.gov.in |

yes the ias examination pattern of prelimnary exam is changed.but main examination remain the same.in prelimnary the new pattern is civil service aptitude test(csat).it consist of numerical ability test,interpersonal skills, english knowledge,logical reasoning.

ya, the ias examination pattern for the prelimnary examination is changed to csat(civil service aptitude test)by removing the optional paper from prelimnary exam.general studies remains same. and the main exam pattern also remains same.
