Engineering graduates can find enough career openings in public sector. Technology aided sections in government departments often recruit B.Tech degree holders. PSU like SAIL, ECIL, ONGC, BHEL, etc are also in need of engineering graduates. IES Exam is another gateway through which one can get in to government sector. Defense, Customs, etc are other government sectors that offer technical career openings. Nationalized Banks and Railways also offer enough employment opportunities.
