Since mechanical engineering is the oldest and core branch of engineering it is always in demand in almost all sectors whether it is public or private. This is the reason why mechanical engineering is also known as Evergreen branch of engineering.

Mechanical engineering students can apply to different core mechanical companies in private sector such as:
  1. Hero
  2. Mahindra
  3. Maruti
  4. Murugappa
  5. Lurgi
  6. TVS...etc

They also have a great demand in different PSUs such as:
  1. DRDO

  3. DMRC
  4. Railways
  5. BHEL
  6. GAIL
  7. SAIL

  2. TCS

So, chose the field where you want to go and which attracts you the most. But usually public sectors are considered idle for mechanical engineers.

Mechanical engineers can join as Section Engineer in railways. They can join engineering services by qualifying ESE exam. GATE qualified candidates can get placed with NTPC, IOCL, or ONGC. CDS qualified candidtes can join defense as Officer. In banks, you can look for Specialist Officer profiles.

MY CUT OFF 130.75 I TAKE IN B.TECH MECH,B.E BEST OR B.TECH BEST TA. B.TECH MECHNICAL JOB OPPERSUNITY.HOW MANY PERSENTAGE IN JOB that my future.which is the best college in trichy say ans; me!
