Sir, I have completed M.Sc Mathematics and now looking for job. Please tell me which type of job I can get other than teaching field? Entrance exams and necessary qualification?

--> Being a Master degree holder in Mathematics you just not have to worry about the career options available for you on the basis of your educational qualification. Some of the options available for you are as here under :-

* You can join defense services by qualifying CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) entrance examination. Also for the same examination your age need to lie under 25 years ( Maximum age varies with the desired wing of CDS).

* You can join administrative services like IAS, IPS, IFS, etc. by qualifying UPSC or State PSC examinations. For the same your age need to lie within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates and age limit for different state PSC examination also varies.

* You can join banking sector as a bank clerk or bank probationary officer for which your age need to lie within 20 years to 28 years and 21 years to 30 years respectively. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. Further for your recruitment in nationalized banks you need to qualify examinations such as IBPS bank examination or SBI bank examination.

* You can join various university as an assistant professor or JRFs by qualifying NET ( National Eligibility Test). Further for appearing in this examination you need to managed 55% marks in your Master's degree with your age lying under 28 years for JRF. There is no age limit for the post of Assistant professor and marks relaxation of 5% as well as age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.

* You can become higher divisional clerk in various government offices by qualify SSC CGL ( Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level ) examination. Further for this examination your age need to lie within 18 years to 27 years ( for some departments 30 years). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
